Interim service price by vehicle size, petrol

Petrol prices. Diesel, hybrid and electric prices in the quote. About 1½ hours in the workshop.

  • Price agreed first. Every job is quoted before we start. Anything extra, we call you and wait for a yes.
  • 24-month warranty. Parts and labour, 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
  • Keeps your car’s warranty. Parts to manufacturer spec and a stamped service record, so the factory warranty stands.

What we do

The interim service is the half-way check for cars that live on the motorway. Fresh oil is the cheapest protection an engine can get, and the 42 checks catch the things that wear between yearly services: brake pads, tyre tread, wiper blades and bulbs.

We use oil to the grade printed in your handbook, never a one-size bulk oil. If your car needs a long-life oil, that is what goes in, and the price on the quote already includes it.

Most interim services are done while you wait. You will be back on the road in about an hour and a half, with a written report and photos of anything we would keep an eye on.

What’s included

“Clean waiting room, decent coffee and a printed checklist of the 42 checks with notes on each. Very different from the chain I used before.”

Questions about this job

Do I need an interim service?
If you drive more than 12,000 miles a year, yes. The oil works harder than the yearly service interval assumes. If you drive less, a full service once a year is enough.
Does it stamp my service book?
Yes. It is recorded as an interim service in the book and on the digital service record.
